PROFESSIONAL SERVICE

Your practitioner will take a full medical, occupational & lifestyle history if you have never visited the clinic before, or review it if you have. All your information is taken in a private room and stored on our secure database for your privacy & security.

Before any treatment, your practitioner will undertake a visual and physical and 3D Footscan© to assess the underlying cause of your condition and create a treatment plan they will follow to achieve the best outcome.

Once you and our practitioner are happy with the treatment plan, you will be rehabilitated using the latest technology so we can provide the highest standard of care in-line with evidenced based medicine.
We aim to provide professional, affordable foot care at all times. Our treatment fees therefore reflect the high standard of care we provide.

Whether you are working through 'Couch to 5k' or training for an ultramarathon, any increases or changes in activity can reveal underlying musculoskeletal issues. The body is very good at compensating for minor imbalances or restrictions, but if you push your body beyond what it can cope with, you will start to experience symptoms.
This can be anything from niggling aches and pains, recurring twinges to full-blown injuries.
By assessing how your feet interact with the ground and how your lower limbs function, we can spot patterns in your gait that could be causing these issues. And the sooner these issues are picked up, the less damage will be caused in the long-run.
You can always request a free telephone consultation with our podiatrist by calling the clinic on 01564 314614 or sending us an email via our contact form HERE.
1. Identify problems: By examining the way someone moves, a podiatrist can detect any abnormalities, such as overpronation, supination, or limb length discrepancy, that could be contributing to pain, discomfort, or injury.
2. Prevent injury: By identifying any issues with a person's gait, a podiatrist can help prevent future injuries. They can recommend interventions, such as orthotics or exercises, to correct any imbalances or weaknesses that could cause injuries during physical activity.
3. Improve performance: For athletes, podiatry gait analysis can help improve their performance. By correcting any biomechanical issues, an athlete can move more efficiently, which can lead to better performance and reduced risk of injury.
4. Individualised treatment: Our thorough assessments provides us with detailed information about a person's walking or running gait. This information can be used to develop a personalised treatment plan that is tailored to the individual's specific needs and goals.
Overall, sports podiatry can be a valuable tool for diagnosing and treating a variety of lower limb issues, including foot and ankle pain, knee pain, and even hip and back pain. It can help individuals achieve better foot health and mobility, as well as improve their quality of life.
